Traveling to Thailand on your own is a great idea, and the decision to go on a trip is the best that can happen to you :-) Friendly locals, developed infrastructure, ease of solving all issues and of course amazing nature: sea, mountains, jungle, waterfalls and there is still much that attracts travelers from all over the world. Many remain here to live - someone like us only for the winter, and some even longer.

On this page there will be something like a table of contents for all of our articles on Thailand - for easy navigation all in one place.

Independent trip to Thailand

We already live in Thailand for the second winter and I want to tell a lot, share a lot. We hope this material is useful to those who are going to Thailand on their own. Let's start with motivational posts: after all, first you need to decide where and why to go. Here you can look at our photos on the links for inspiration and plan a trip to the same places, especially since we are trying to give practical information everywhere. And at the end of the article - links to useful materials that will help plan your trip.

Bangkok from a height of 47 floors

This city does not leave anyone indifferent! A bustling Asian anthill, in which it is nevertheless easy to find a secluded quiet temple, as well as feed the monitor lizards in the park or climb the roof of a skyscraper to view the city from a bird's eye view. I think how many times you will come, so many and find new unusual places.

Northern thailand

This is our beloved part of the country, the real Siam, with stunning locals who communicate with them is a pleasure. The center of the north and the second largest city in the country is Chiang Mai. It is also the cultural capital - it is here that festivals are celebrated with the greatest scope and celebrate holidays. And what nature is here! However, read a couple of articles, and you will understand why we are in love with Chiang Mai and its environs. Many people who come to Thailand on their own visit the north and are delighted.

Koh Samui

Paradise is closer than it seems. It was on Koh Samui that we found beaches as from the Bounty advertisement, transparent clear sea and idyllic landscapes.

We lived on the island for a month - it was a relaxation of clear water :-) If you arrive at the beach early, you can swim at least naked - no one is hundreds of meters around. Romance and only. What is not an idea for a honeymoon?

We also traveled the rest of the country. I hope the list of cities and regions will be updated.
